Armed and Courteous Firearms Instruction is a Nonprofit organization dedicated to the idea that firearm safety training should be as common as teaching children to respect electricity.

We are also dedicated to educating the public on your personal responsibility to protect yourself and your family. Most people believe the police have a responsibility to protect us at all times and that is just not the case. According to cases like Warren v. District of Columbia (444 A.2d. 1, D.C. Ct. of Ap. 1981) and similar cases across the country, the courts have ruled “police do not have a duty to provide police services to individuals, even if a dispatcher promises help to be on the way, except when police develop a special duty to particular individuals.”
